Context:

This video production was created for CI3750, Integrating Media and Technology into Teaching, Spring 2007. It was made under the advisement of this course's instructor, Jeff Goodman.

Impact:

This assignment according to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study is suitable for fifth grade students. With this assignment, students will be asked to create a video based on a children's book of their choice or a children's book that you chose. Before students begin filming their video, they are asked to create a script/storyboard which will enable them to organize their materials, techniques, and thoughts before filming. After the video is filmed, the students are then invited to edit their video in a computer lab. Students will then be encouraged to share their final video to the entire class.
