These words of baseball great and humanitarian Roberto Clemente, are words that I have tried to live my life by over the last couple of years. My aspiration to receive a degree in education and become a teacher started when I got to work with young athletes at a lacrosse camp.  Since then, my goal has been to become a teacher in social studies, language arts, or foreign language and be a leader in the classroom as an educator and also on the field as a coach. So far, the path to reach this goal has been very challenging, but it has also been enjoyable. This portfolio will provide many of the ways that I have arrived at this point, with a lot of adventures still to come.
