Portfolio

Use the framework provided (based on the Charlotte Danielson Framework) to develop your portfolio. Include pictures, slideshows, and at least 2 teaching videos - questioning of students and students using technology for instruction (no longer than 5 minutes each). Include at least one unit plan with assessments and samples of student work, lesson plans, technology lesson, knowledge of and involvement with your content professional association(s), and action research project with data and analysis. Complete the artifact information for each artifact. Artifacts should be comprehensive so that only 3 or 4 artifacts are needed for each outcome. Complete the outcome reflection information for each outcome.

Publish your portfolio. Send the portfolios to instructors and peers for feedback before the final portfolio is due.

Portfolio URLs are sent to reviewers two weeks before your portfolio interiew with your portfolio panel of reviewers and must  be complete at the time the URLs are sent. Your portfolio review should be a time for you to highlight items in your portfolio and to respond to questions and requests for information that the panel members have. This review is to be a 'defense' of your portfolio.

Many interns use the portfolio as part of their job interiews. Consider making a duplicate portfolio and rearranging, eliminating, and/or adding items to make the portfolio more relevant as part of an interview.

The original portfolio must be 'packed up,' expanded, burned as a CD, and submitted to the program coordinator at the time of the portfolio interview. Make certain to run the portfolio on the CD before submitting it to make certain that it works.
