Modeling professional dispositions and responsibilities is integral to a candidate’s ability to become an effective education professional. The educational unit maintains high expectations of candidates related to professional behavior and ethical concerns.
At several points in their programs, candidates are assessed on professional dispositions and responsibilities using the Professional Dispositions and Responsibilities Rating Form. However, at other points in their programs, candidates may demonstrate unacceptable behavior related to any of the criteria in the rating form.
Documentation of the unacceptable behavior should be recorded using the Concerns Documentation Form and the Initial Intervention Form.
