Science Demonstration

Context:This project was completed for my GS 4401 class under the instruction of Dr. Jeff Goodman in the fall of 2007. The technology used in this project was Microsoft Word and it was performed for children involved in an after school program.

Impact: Students used their fists to experiment with forces of motion. Students were able to determined the difference between vertical and horizontal force.

Alignment:

I met Standard 3 indicator 2 by using my knowledge of force to show how the difference in vertical and horizontal force by using your body.

I met Standard 15 indicator 1 by performing this demo to mostly Hispanic children in an after school program. I also used body parts to experiment with force and motion.
