Diverse Learner Case Study

Context:

This assignment was conducted in my C I 3000, Learner Diversity class, in block one in Spring 2007 under the instruction of Dr. Allen Bryant.  The Theory into Practice assessment was conducted in a 4th grade classroom at Mountain View Elementary in Morganton, North Carolina.  I used Microsoft Word to complete this assignment.

Impact:

The purpose of this assignment was to better understand the diverse learners in the classroom based on cultural reports done earlier in the semester.  I focused on a boy to interview and correlate the information presented in the cultural report.  After this assignment I was able to get a glimpse of what is like to be in a classroom as a young boy.
