In my study of cultural diversity in education, I examined the relationship of cultural values in regards to the formation of a child's self-concept and learning styles.  Here I learned about the role of stereotyping, prejudices, and other cultural incompatibilities in education.  I came to understand through various projects, assignments, and discussions how to offer equal educational opportunities to children of all cultural groups.  View the links above to see the work I have completed in this course.
