Thank You!

Final Photo

Within the last two years, I have been supported as I grow professionally and personally-- our curriculum class is an extension of my growth. I find that my portofolio would not be complete unless I acknowledged those who have help me through this process. Thank you to Partick Green and other community of scholars in the classroom for this enriching experience.

First, I want to thank my mom who is highly known of within this program based on my countless amount of stories. I appreciate your support and unconditional love through this journey. Thank you for helping get through the tough days and allowing me to focus on my education and work/life balance. I love you dearly.

Secondly, I want to thank my family and friends for the encouraging words throughout the last two years. Those thoughtful words do not go unnoticed. Thank you for letting me complain and helping me deal with the stressful times.

Thirdly, I want to thank my University of Chicago family for providing me with extraordinary experiences that I can treasure for a lifetime. Being apart of a community with professionals who appreciate and love the work they do has been a blessing. A special shoutout goes out to Dr. Darren Pierre, Derek Bundy, and Jamila Anderson for their mentorship, friendship, and support throughout my development as a student and professional.

Fourth, I want to thank my Loyola University Chicago faculty. In each of my classes, the faculty have pushed me in ways I did not know was possible. Thank you for believing in me even when there were times I though otherwise. A special shoutout to my advisor Dr. Bridget Kelly who has provided me with the understanding that my story matters and the importance of balancing work and personal time.

Fifth, I want to thank my cohort and other members of our community. The last two years have been an adventure and I feel honored to have been able to learn, laugh, and cry with such an amazing group of people who share the same passion as I do. A special shout goes out to Leah Pasquesi, Ally Schipma, Jon Merril, and Russell Aivazian for having the tough conversations with me and continued support throughout the program.
