There are 4 sheets with in the excel document I uploaded. Blank cells means the student did not take the assessment and were not counted in the data.

Sheet 1 is entitled "PEMDAS Pre & Post Raw Score." This sheet lists the students and the raw scores they recieved on their order of operations (PEMDAS) pre and post. The pre-assessment was out of 3 points. The post-assessment was out of 5. There is a bar graph right under the students' raw scores comparing the individual students' pre and post score. Underneath, I calculated the average pre and post raw scores of the whole class. The pre does not include HL's score because she transfered in the class towards the end of the unit, but she is included for the post-assessment scores. There is a bar graph representing the average class pre-assessment raw score and the average class post-assessment raw score.

Sheet 2 is entitled "PEMDAS Pre & Post Percentages." This sheet lists the students and the percentage correct they recieved on their order of operations (PEMDAS) pre and post assessment. The percentages are obviously out of 100% indiciating 100% accuracy and correctness. 0% would indicate nothing was answered correctly. There is a bar graph right under the indvidual students' percentages comparing the students' pre and post. Underneath, I calculated the average pre & post percentages of the whole class. The pre does not include HL's score because she transferd in the class towards th end of the unit, but she is included for the post-assessment percentage scores. This graph is a more accurate representation of student gains because the pre and post assessment have different raw score totals so looking at the precentage is a more accurate representation.

Sheet 3 is entitled "+ - Decimal Pre Raw Score." This sheet lists the students and the raw score they recieved on the adding and subtracting pre-assessment. The pre-assessment was out of 4 points. There is a bar gaph right under the students' raw scores of each individual student. It does not contain a comparison to a post-assessment because we did not go over this topic like originally planned when starting my Practicum. Underneath the indvidual students' raw scores I calculated the pre average of the whole class. There is a bar graph representing the pre average of the whole class. HL did not take this because she was not there to take the assessment and transfered into my class. DH was suspended and was not there to take the pre-assessment.

Sheet 4 is entitled "+ - Decimals Pre Percentages." The sheet lists the students and the percentage correct the recieved on their adding and subtracting decimals pre and post assessment. The percentages are obviously out of 100% indicating 100% accuracy and correctness. 0% indicates nothing was answered correctly. There is a bar graph under the individual students' percentages representing each students' individual percentage. Underneath that the overall class average was calculated and there was a bar graph indicating the average overall percentage of the class. HL did not take this because she was not there to take the assessment and transferd into my class. DH was suspended and was not there to take the pre-assessment.
