While at Longwood, I try to participate in extra-curricular activities to enhance my education.

For awhile, I was the Director of Professional Activities for the Accounting Association where my duites included:

• Manage several committees
• Arranged professional guests and speakers
• Assisted the president in many activities
• And planned networking events on campus

After AA, I moved to establish the Information Systems Organizat ion. This organization is dedicated to help others become better IT professionals by:

• Arranging workshops to teach programs (such as Access or Javascript)
• Host biweekly meeting for students to socialize
• Plan guest speakers and employer visits
• And providing tutoring services to members

After the summer, I plan on joining philantropic groups like the Social Work club, Environmental Safety club, or perhaps starting a student organization dedicated to helping International causes.
