"Maybe our favorite quotations say more about us than about the stories and people we're quoting." -John Green

Hi! My name is Allison Davis, and I am a first year graduate student in the Higher Education M.Ed. program at Loyola University Chicago. I currently serve as the graduate assistant for Student Services in Loyola's Quinlan School of Business. I am passionate about many things, including but not limited to: social justice education, religion, human rights, movies, books, John Green, my partner (who is also a Higher Education professional), and women's colleges. I received a B.A. from Converse College, where I studied Elementary Education. I am a certified 2-6 educator in my home state of South Carolina. While at my undergrad, I got heavily and passionately involved in Student Government, Residential Life, and Student Conduct, and was impacted so positively by my supportive mentors. In an effort to pay it forward, and because I value real, authentic conversations with students, I decided to leave the K12 world behind in order to become a Student Affairs professional. I hope you find this site helpful in understanding and following my experiences learning about and creating significant learning experiences. If you have any questions, or would like to chat, please check out my social media pages.
