Description of Major Assessment

The Major Assessment (MA) for this course is the creation of a Learning Object compiled throughout the course. With over 15 years experience in graphic design, the candidate, in lieu of the required course work and with the support of my professor, worked on a separate individual project to further their multimedia and design skills. Rather than simply completing the course projects, the candidate designed and developed a website from scratch. While doing so, experimentation with technologies and languages new to the candidate, including XML, HTML5, and Adobe After Effects was undertaken.
