Summer 2014 Critical Friends Academy


Welcome to the repository for the materials and resources we'll be using during the 3-day Critical Friends Assessment Academy, as well as basic resources for assessment and using TaskStream.  Materials and resources are organized by Day 1, Day 2, Day 3 and by the components they support.  The purpose of the Academy is "to build a common, shared understanding and use of the basic elements of assessment at the course and program levels, of the elements of an assessment cycle, and of the elements and tasks involved in creating an annual assessment report.  The main emphasis is on capacity building and providing support for creating and sustaining elements of the assessment process." At the end of each day, we will discuss what to keep, what to add, and what to revise or eliminate so we can develop both our capacity to serve as Critical Friends and the set of resources that we can use in that role.  If there is something that you would like to have added, please contact Jaci.
