This is a picture of the Edmund Pettus bridge. This picture is about civil right leaders marching from Selma to Montgomery. This group of people were trying to register themselves to vote but the police wouldnt let African Americans register. This is abstract art becasue when you look at it common sense tells you there is a story behind it. And if you didnt know the story or the history behind it then you could take guesses on what it means. You can look closley at the peoples faces and the police waiting for them at the end of the bridge.
