World History

World History (Grade 9) 1 Credit

Prerequisite: None

The World History course will introduce students to non-United States history from the Enlightenment to the present. Topics studied will include the French, Industrial, and Russian Revolutions, Imperialism, World Wars I and II, the Cold War, and the post-Cold War world. In addition, students will practice the skills of the historian: collecting and evaluating a variety of data, and using this data to create a research project.
