Standard #4: IEP
Standard #4: I created this IEP for a case study student in my transition planning and IEP course. When writing an IEP is important to not only understand a student's strengths and weaknesses, but also the content of the grade-level curriculum. Establishing a solid understanding of student skill and curriculum expectations allows one to write appropriate goals within an IEP.

Standard #4: Literacy Handbook
Standard #4: I created this handbook in EDU 710. This handbook focuses on the different components that are required of quality readers. Sections in this handbook include; Phonemic Awareness, Word Recognition and Phonics, Vocabulary, Comprehension, Fluency, and Written Expression. Each section provides a definition, teaching strategies, examples of assessments, and resources. I have applied that strategies and resources that I have learned from the different sections within this handbook to content of the curriculum I use with the students on my caseload.

Standard #4: Standards Based Calendar
Standard #4: I created this standards based calendar focusing on Kindergarten Math. This calendar provided me with an understanding of how to efficiently pace instruction throughout the school year. Creating this calendar also gave me a more descriptive image and direction of the content of the math units over the course of the year.
