Poster Title: A Psychophysical Investigation of Cortical Deficits in Glaucoma

Summary of Poster: As of now, glaucoma is known as the detrition or damage of the optic nerves; our study focuses on patients with primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG). To conduct our research, we utilized a software named VPixx to create specific visual stimuli. Each stimuli is designed to determine if cortical deficits are present in patients with POAG, more specifically, in higher-order motion and in visual attention. The results of these stimuli will guide us in determining whether or not glaucoma also affects the mind, due to the growing body of evidence that claim so.
