"Hi! Loved the speakers. It was a good thing I went to, because the next day I took my group of 12 out on a day hike with our dogs up AF Canyon, and one of the ladies' own dog bite her thumb. I was able to clean it up as best I could and wrap it properly. After the hike she went to urgent care only to find there was a hole in her nail! I was so glad I had my training refreshed at this conference. Love that it is free, speakers were professional with lots of experience, the free lunch was awesome, and everyone was very friendly."

"Thanks so much for putting on such a great event!  I was able to get my son's scoutmaster to attend with me, and he just drank it all in.  Great stuff for sure.  The facilities were great, as was the format.  The food was delicious, and I loved all the giveaways!  The keynote speakers were spot on - excellent and interesting content from both.  I enjoyed the hands on practice session for the taping.  That's something that takes a lot of practice, and I hadn't done it in several years.  I also appreciated the practical advice with examples, either in photos or display of items, on what to put in a kit and how to repurpose items for another use.  The leadership components on how to prevent, but then appropriate manage an incident when needed, was all really great content."

"Thanks for organizing this conference, I drove down from Syracuse for this and found it to be worth the trip.  You guys did a very good job in organizing it.  I thought the food, prizes, presenters and sponsors were all very good, and I really enjoyed the two Keynote speakers. I think the one item that I would suggest for improvement would be a wider variety of topics.  It was very first aid heavy, and while that is understandable there are many other types of emergencies that can be faced in the back country, and first aid training is available in lots of places.  I found Dr Hill's presentation extremely informative and had never received training like it anywhere else, more classes on what we can do to prepare before the trip or other types of emergencies, would be extremely useful. Thanks again for a great conference, I'll plan on attending again next year."
