I thought I knew everything there is to know about PowerPoint going into the PowerPoint course … I was wrong! I did know a good deal about the program, but there is plenty that I learned. As a future teacher I also learned that you can never know everything there is to know about a subject because the information keeps building. I benefited greatly from taking this course in the Teacher of Today and Tomorrow learning community. I believe that the working force is requiring more and more people to have knowledge in computers. I have used my abilities creating PowerPoint presentations for other courses as well as the learning community courses. In the learning community I had the wonderful opportunity of creating a pro/con research presentation on PowerPoint with three fellow classmates. Our subject was All day vs. Half day Kindergarten.  A lot of time and hard work went into the presentation and it shows with the amazing graphs and vibrant colors which make it come alive. The last presentation in the learning community was my Final Reflection about my time spent doing Service Learning. I enjoyed this presentation the most because it was my chance to shine and show my talents not only from PowerPoint but as a wonderful, successful, future teacher!
