Closing the Loop

Report of changes resulting from assessment and program review

As part of your Program Overview, you completed sections for Program Update Process and Program Updates for the preceding three years.  Closing the Loop is how you use your assessment data into the future in order to continuously improve your programs and courses for CTC students.  Based on your annual Assessment data and External feedback, you will make recommendations, implement change, and describe the impact of the changes:  Close the Loop.  Record these annually in your Instructional Program Review wordspace (inTaskStream) under Use of Results and Implementation / Impact.

The Texas Tech website demonstrates a simple method for describing your Closing the Loop activities.  These examples are from core course, but the method is the same in other fields as well.

Open a few course documents and choose a model that works for you.
