Fall 2012 -- The attached forms / templates were provided at the Faculty Forums held in October 2012. We have updated them slightly (to eliminate the need for a cover sheet).  Scroll down to the attachments and select what you need for your Foundational Component Area courses.  If you have completed the older version, just add the line-items for CIP code and Department Chair approval.  As you fill them out they will probably flow to extra pages -- that's fine.

Fill out a proposal template for for each course you want to be included; at the end, add (paste) the required syllabus sections, and save it as, e.g., ENGL 1301 core course proposal.  Be sure to go to the next section of this webpage, Assessment Plans, to include the course assessment strategy in your department's Assessment Plans.

Departments were to submit the courses and assessment plans by January 28, 2013.  (There is a revision window built into our process, but let's try to get these all in by the deadline.  We need to compile them for the Curriculum Committee meeting in February)  In the meantime, I am available to meet with you or join a department meeting to assist you with this.
