Assessment Plan Workshops

  • What data do we need to gather at the institutional level?
  • How will faculty provide it?

Contact jane.zimmerman@ctcd.edu or x 1182 to arrange for an assessment planning workshop, either for your core curriculum or your instructional program assessment.  Once you have a plan, data need to be reported annually.

For Instructional Program Reviews:

Section 4 of your program review calls for an assessment plan -- a plan of what program-level proficiency data you will provide each semester, covering advanced students in your program.  The easiest way to do this is to use data that you already gather in scoring students in their capstone experience or capstone course.  If your program does not have a capstone, we will need to discuss other options.

In addition, other data that you have available, such as transfer and employment information, can be recorded and tracked over time.

This data provides concrete information about the accomplishments of your program and your students.
