The Spanish Box

The foundation for understanding Spanish.

The Spanish Box Consits of 6 smaller boxes.  Each box represents a number and Person(first, second, third)  It has two colums and 3 rows.

Here is an example

First Person --->      I                   We

Second Person ---> YOU               You Guys

Third Person --->     HE or SHE       THEY

                       Singular Side        Plural Side

First person means the speaker is included in the subject of the sentence.  Example I talk fast. or My mother and I talk on the phone.

Second person means the speaker is talking directly to someone.  You need to wash the dishes. or You guys talk too much.

Third person means you are talking about someone else.  Example Steve runs fast. or Mom and dad eat together.

The singular side means the subject is only one thing.  Example dog, Fred, man

The plural side means the subject is more than one.  Example The boys the parents, Fred and Barney, Mom and I.
