4/23 - Prepare a no frills presentation on AR verbs. You should discuss the different forms, How you know a verb is an AR verb, maybe share some sample sentences. You can sing it, dance it, write it, present it. Your information is more important than the teaching aide. You should not spend more than 15 minutes on this. You already know all the information.
4/19 - Write 6 sentences for each of the following verbs: Preguntar (to ask a question) and tomar (to take). Then write its meaning in English
4/16 - Write the six forms of gritar, escuchar, and trabajar in a box like we did in class today.
4/ 12 - Write the 7 Spanish Subjects like we did last night, then write the verb "hablar' after it.
4/ 9 - Write the 7 Spanish Subject Pronouns, then write an example of a noun that each one replaces.
4/5 - Write a poem that uses all 7 Spanish Subject pronouns that we learned today in class. If you did not complete today's assignment from 4/2 it is due as well.
4/2 - Write an essay in English about everything you know about English Subject Pronouns. The details were passed out today in class. You should discuss what they are, how many there are, which ones are singular, which ones are plural, and what first, second, and third person means.
3/29 - No Homework in honor of Holy Week, but expect an easy 5 point quiz when you come to class.
3/19 - No Homework. Enjoy Spring Break!
3/15 - Draw 8 pictures of the vocabulary words that I gave you in class today.
3/12 - Study for time Quiz on Monday. You need to know son las, es la, por la manana, por la tarde, por la noche, and en punto.
3/8 - Complete the time worksheet that I had Ms. Miranda pass out to you today. i know some of the clocks are hard to read, but do your best. Remember a wrong paper is 10 times better than a blank paper.
3/1 - Write a schedule of a typical miercoles. Use ten events. Your paper should look like this:
6:00 - Son las seis y media. I wake up.
7:25 - Son las siete y veinticinco. I go to school
2/26 - Write the times in Spanish from 12 o'clock to 1:00 every 5 minutes.
2/22 - Write the times in Spanish from 10 o'clock to 11 o'clock.
2/19 - From the postre/bebidas side of the vocab sheet, place all words in ABC order then write what they are in English.
2/12 - Draw a place setting and label all 12 'poner la mesa' vocab words in Spanish.
2/5 - Write five sentences using nos gusta. For example: Al mono y yo, nos gusta comer el platano.
2/1 - Write 6 questions and 6 answers to them like we did in class today. Be sure to use a form of gustar and a 'de la granja' vocab word. For example:
¿A ti, te gusta la leche?
Si, a mi, me gusta la leche.
¿A Pedro, le gusta el helado?
No, a pedro, no le gusta el helado.
¿A Maria y Marta, les gustan los huevos?

1/29 - Put all the bread and farm vocabulary in the vocab section of your notebook.
1/25 - Draw a picture of a bakery with the 6 new vocabulary words we learned today. Label the parts in Spanish.
1/15 - Study for you meat and veggie, and fruit vocab test. Quiz is next Friday. No class on Monday.
1/11 - Ceate the 4x4 grid/BINGO card like I showed you in class. Use the 14 meat words to include la carne. You will also use Gratis as a free square. You now have one square left over. Pick any meat and use it again.
1/8 - Put la carne vocab in ABC order in vocab section of notebook.
12/18 - No homework for the Holidays!
12/15 - Study your homework paper on gusta(n). We will have a quiz over it on Friday.
12/11 - Complete the worksheet on gustar. I know this is hard, but I expect you to try. No blank papers! The file is on the 7th grade page.
12/8 - Write 5 sentences with gusta(n) like we did in class. Be sure to use me, te, le, nos, and les. Then Translate them to English.
Me gusta la pera. I like the pear.
Te gustan las naranjas. I like oranges.
El conejo le gusta la zanahoria. The rabbit likes the carrot.
Nos gustan las uvas. We like grapes
Los ninos les gusta la ensalada. The kids like the salad.
12/4 - Write 3 questions and 3 answers that use Me gusta and Te gusta.
Example: ?Te gusta la pina? No, no me gusta la pina.
12/1 - Put veggies in vocab section of Spanish Notebook.
11/24 - No homework in honor of Thanksgiving
11/20 - Put 10 verbs in vocab section that we learned today.
11/17 - Draw an African Safari with 10 animals and label them in Spanish.
11/13 - Place the animal on page 1 in ABC order in Spanish then write what they are in English
11/10 - Place the animal on page 1 in ABC order in Spanish then write what they are in English.
11/6 - Complete the worksheet on Masculine and feminine that is on a half sheet of paper. Follow the directions.
11/3 - Complete the entire worksheet for homework. You should have the article and label each word Masc or feminie AND Singular or Plural.
10/30 - Complete the Masculine and feminine worksheet that was passedout today. Don't worry about the little word in front. We will learn that next week.
10/20 - Put classroom Objects in ABC order in Spanish. Then put english meanings next to them.
10/16 - Put Classroom Objects in Vocabulary section of Spanish Notebook.
10/13 - Draw a picture of 10 classroom objects and label them in Spanish. This should be a quality picture that can be hung inthe hallway.
10/2 - Due to today's events, we will continue the test on Tuesday. Keep studying.
9/29 - No Homework. - Test Today.
9/25 - Study for your test on Tuesday.
9/23 - Answer the three questions about the date that we learned about in class today. Pretend that today is Frday March 13th, 2009

9/4 Write your numbers from 400 to 1200 by 50 in Spanish. For example Four hundred, four hundred fifty, five undred...etc
9/1 - Complete section D from the number workshet. If you did not do last night's assignment, you need to do it as well.
8/28 - Complete sections A and C from the number worksheet that was handed out today.
8/25 - Let's try this again...Complete section one and two from the number packet that I handed out.
8/21 - Complete section one from the number packet that I handed out today. Also, write the numbers from 10-17 in the vocabulary section of you notebook.
8/14 Write down any 10 vocab words in your notebook like I taught you in class today.
8/18 Show the class policy sheet to your parent and explain one rule that you like to them. Have them sign that they have read the rules on the last page.
