Class: 7th Grade/Social Studies
Teacher:Lee Ann Erickson Unit: Trade and Culture
Date: 11/14 Topic: Eastern Hemisphere Geography
Lesson Title:Culture and Trade Post-Assessment
Materials/Resources needed: pencils or pens, students personal class notes which they got back last week, Google Presentation that shows student timeline for class and steps for taking the test.
Adaptions:
**IEP students will have the option to go to the LRC in order to have the test read to them and allow them all the time they need to finish up their test or we will spend time the next day finishing up the test.
Class you’ll have 10 minutes to review your notes before we start the test. Once the test begins you will need to keep your eyes on your own paper and there will be no talking during the test, if you need anything during the test just raise your hand. If you finish before the time is up, put your test on the computer monitor and you can read if you brought a book or draw, but you need to be quite for everyone else taking the test.
Daily Reflection:
There were only about 10 students who took advantage of the time allowed for reviewing right before the test. All of the students did an excellent job focusing on the test today, and all except 6 students finshed the test within the time allotted. The students who did not finish were all ELL students and I told them that they could have time the next day to finish up what they were not able to do. I also had one student absent today and so I will give him the test tomorrow. I am eager to go through their post-assessments and see how they did!
