How to Change Your Schedule
All schedule change requests are made electronically!
You can submit your schedule change starting Friday June 10th
- Schedule Change requests must be made online between Friday, June 10 and Thursday, June 23rd. After June 23, no schedule changes will be processed. There will not be anyone at Salpointe to respond to schedule change requests from June 24th until August 4th.
- Determine which class you want to change. We will attempt to change your schedule only if it will benefit you academically and if your request is manageable within the constraints of our master schedule.
- Important Note: Schedule changes may alter or change periods of some of your other classes. No schedule changes will be made to accommodate teacher requests or lunches! Your student account will be charged $50.00 for any schedule changes.
- Click here Salpointe Course Catalogue to view the 2016-2017 “Course Catalogue” and find the course that you want to take. Be sure that you meet all prerequisites before requesting that course.
- If you still want to proceed with the schedule change request, send an email to: schedulechange@salpointe.org Please provide the following information and then send the email.
1. Your name, phone #, and Student ID number.
2. Title of the Course(s) you want to drop.
3. Title of the Course(s) you want to add.
4. Titles of Alternate Courses in case your first choice does not
fit.
5. The reason you want to change the course.
6. A statement by one of your parents giving us permission to
change your schedule.
7. Please “CC” your parents email when sending the schedule
change email.
- If we can change your schedule, your new schedule will be posted on your Net Classroom page no later than July 2nd. Your student account will be charged $50.00 for any schedule changes.
- If we cannot change your schedule, we will notify you by email. In some rare cases, we may have to schedule an appointment to resolve a scheduling problem. Please include a phone # in your email so that we can reach you if need be.
Please remember that a request to change your schedule does not guarantee that the change can or will be made. Availability of the course(s) requested, impact on the student’s existing classes, and academic benefits for the student will be considered. In many cases, a schedule change may be impossible because of scheduling conflicts.
Please understand that accomodating your request will more than likely change other periods, teachers, or lunch time on your schedule.
