The Child Development course that I have completed at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, has strengthened my knowledge in regards to how children develop socially, physically, emotionally, and congnitively. I now know that all four areas of development are vital for children to reach their full potential. I was also able to do research on Tourette Syndrome. This syndrome is very common among elementary students, especially males, and I am better prepared to accommodate children with tourettes in my future classroom. Child Development is a course that has helped me understand those I will be serving and teaching, my future students.</i>
