The creative side of teaching is, in my opinion, the best side of teaching. However, it can consume a lot of time. Microsoft Office has designed a time-save, creative helper that teachers can take advantage of. So, what is it? The program is called Microsoft Publisher. For the past five weeks, I have explored Publisher and even made theoretical projects for practice. I have made a newsletter, flyer, business card, CD cover, homepage for a class website, brochure, calendar, and personalized letterhead. All of these projects have templates and color scheme options which saves time. Furthermore, because Publisher has a variety of choices, creativity flourishes. In addition, Publisher is user friendly, meaning that this program is easy to learn. Publisher can and should be one of teacher's "best friends." I know that, as a future educator, I will use this program all the time in my future teaching career.
