During my time spent in the Internet/Web class offered to me at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, I was taught how to search the Web for reliable and credible sources. By finding reliable and credible sources I have been able to have more in depth research, and I value the importance of having reliable sources. Much of my time was spent learning how to create my own education portfolio on Taskstream, using HTML to enhance my portfolio. Taskstream is a program that teachers can use to organize, create, and display their education portfolios. Using HTML codes, I have been taught how to add graphics, different colored fonts, adjust the alignment of my words, and input other visual characteristics that help my portfolio to be attractive to the eye. I now feel confident using this website, and I am excited that I can learn TaskStream now as a freshman because that is the website I will be using for the duration of my college experience. I also see the importance of displaying your work in a professional manner, because how you present information says a lot about the individual, and I will consider having my future students display their work in a similar manner.
