E-mail Letter

e-mail.JPG

Part of teaching is keeping contact with parents throughout the school year. Then, when contact is in place it is important for teachers to explain what they are teaching their students and why. These reasons persuaded me to practice writing like a teacher. I have created an e-mail letter designed for parents explaining why technology should be part of the fourth grade curriculum. One great feature of e-mail letters is that they can be sent out through the use of computers and parents can respond in the same fashion. Therefore, not only will parents read how important technology is, they will see that their student's teacher is also technology savvy. (Again, this is a theoretical project with a pretend school).
