Tangram Challenge

Read all directions very carefully and go step by step

1. The person sitting next to you is your partner.

2. You and your partner share 1 bag.

3. Take the seven shapes out of the bag.

4. You should have 2 large triangles, 1 medium-sized triangle, 2 small triangles, 1 square, and 1 rhomboid.

5. Next, take out the picture of the hexagon.  This paper is labeled Hexagon Tangram.

6. On your desk, arrange the seven shapes to form the Hexagon as shown in the picture.  These pieces may be rotated or flipped over during the arrangement.

7. After you have completed the hexagon tangram, check your answer by looking at the hexagon answer key.

8. You and your partner will now complete one more tangram.

9. Take out the picture of the fish from inside the bag.  This paper is labeled Fish Tangram.

10. Use the same seven pieces to form the fish on your desk.  These pieces may be rotated or flipped over during the arrangement.

11. After you have completed the fish tangram, check your answer by looking at the fish answer key.

12. Congratulations!  You and your partner have just completed the tangram challenge.

13. Please place all materials back inside your bag and sit quietly while your classmates finish.
