Methods Mathematics for Elementary Teachers II is a class which integrates content knowledge of mathematics with methods on teaching math to elementary aged students. I have found this class to be very enjoyable. I have been given different handouts, lesson ideas, and various activities that I can use in my future classroom to make math hands-on. Not only have I been given ideas, I have also had the opportunity to practice teaching a math lesson to my classmates and through service learning, I have assisted a teacher with multiple math lessons. Plus, I have been able to strengthen my own knowledge on mathematics so that I am prepared to teach this important subject. This is a great class for all who want to better themselves in mathematics and who would like ideas on how to engage students in mathematical lessons.
