This complimentary review activity,  using a simplified version of baseball, is great for reviewing information given in class. It is also a great game for the kinesthetic learner and shows that teamwork is important in all aspects of our lives. Teamwork helps build trust towards others, and allows more ideas to be shared.</i></font color=blue>

Teacher Preparation:
  • Four rubber baseball bases brought to make the baseball diamond
</li>
  • List of review question with the answers attached
</li>
  • A quarter needs to be brought for the coin toss
</li>The Plan:
  • I will set up a portion of the room in a baseball diamond.
</li>
  • The class will be divided into two teams
</li>
  • Each side will decide on the name of their team
</li>
  • Each team will select a captain for the coin toss to determine which team will bat first
</li>
  • The team that won the coin toss will form a straight line by home plate
</li>
  • One student at a time will step up to the plate in which the teacher, “pitcher” will ask the first question on the review sheet
</li>
  • If the student answers the question right, he/she will them walk to first base and the second student will answer a different question
</li>
  • If the second student answers the question right they move to first base causing the person on first base to move to second base
</li>
  • When the students continue to answer the questions correctly the students move around the bases so on and so forth
</li>
  • When the question is answered wrong the student is then out
</li>
  • Each team is allotted three outs
</li>
  • After one team reaches three outs, the other team is up to bat
</li>
  • The team with the most runs wins
