Math Activities using Concrete Objects

The following are two math activities that can be used in an elementary classroom. The first activity works well with a unit about integers. The second activity is perfect for a unit in algebraic expressions and equations. Both activities are excellent ways to promote class participation. I personally like both of these activities because they are student centered and easy to execute. Plus, students love them!
