Our PowerPoint presentation is primarily for teacher development in regards to creativity. The PowerPoint starts off discussing a study done using a white dot with a black background. When a group of adults were shown the white dot and asked what they see, all of the adults said a white dot. Then, when researchers showed the same white dot to kindergarten students they all had different creative answers, (ex: snowflake, an eye, ect..). We used this study to stress the point that somewhere creativity got lost from the age of 6 to 18 years old. This proves how important it is for all teachers to use creativity so that it will not be lost. The rest of the presentation discusses different ideas teachers can do, to develop creative classrooms. So, sit back and enjoy the show!
