Feel free to run your ideas by me, either in person, phone, email. You will be signing up for a topic on AsULearn (see your calendar for the due date).
Your final product should be 2 to 3 minutes.
Use the Photostory program in our lab. If you want to work on this at home, you will need 2 programs:
1. Microsoft PhotoStory: Click below or copy and paste this address into your browser:
http://microsoft-photo-story.en.softonic.com/
Click on "Continue," and you may download the program for free.
2. Windows Media Player 10 or 11 to view the story (you may already have this on your computer). Click here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/10/default.aspx
You can use images from the web:
Photobucket.com Flickr Picsearch Google AOLSearch
or your own camera or you can scan printed photos. If you get images from google, click on the image and then click on FULL SIZE IMAGE. Otherwise, you are just getting a preview and the photo will be blurry when you view it in window media player. Your photos must be at least 50 kilobytes in size or they will be blurry once you export them for viewing.
MUSIC: Freeplaymusic
You must include:
1. Title Screen
2. Credits for your photos and music
3. Music
4. 2 to 3 minutes of photos
5. Transitions between photos
If you wish, you may put on You Tube (not required).
We will show your PhotoStories to the class the day they are due.
On AsULearn, we will upload the wmv file (we'll do this in class).

Be sure that you cite all your images. To do so, you will cite the original internet address. If the photos are yours, then cite by saying, "Photos are owner property."
If you get the images from Google Images, the reference you will use is the original web page, not google. Download the image in full size to get the best quality.
To cite music, tell the artist and song title. You may choose to put the citation on a Word document or you can make a background title slide and type the citation on one or several slides (depending on what shows up better). The easiest way to make a citation slide is to go to google images and search for backgrounds. Save it as a jpg or gif and insert it into PhotoStory like you did your other photos.
