Sarah Bennati

Bennati.JPG Sarah is the high school art teacher and was actively involved in the production of our video clips and documentary.  Sarah's Advertising and Design Program recently received a grant from Best Buy which was used to purchase an HP workstation used in our video production activities.  SVCS art students did much of the photography and videography for our project portfolio.

Kate Fisher

Fisher.JPG Kate is the district technology coordinator and has helped with everything from computer setup to lesson planning and delivery.

Erin McCaffrey

McCaffrey.JPG Erin teaches agriculture at SVCS.  She and her Ag Production and Science students have been instrumental in teaching us all about maple syrup production.  She is a valued member of our team.

Kelly Meola

Meola.JPG Kelly teaches English Language Arts and seventh grade media and study skills.  Kelly's students learned about legends and oral traditions by studying Native American legends about maple syrup.  The students then developed their own maple syrup legends in a creative writing exercise.

Rebecca Sermini

Sermini.JPG Rebecca is a science teacher with a specialization in Environmental and Earth Science.  She taught students about the changing  seasons and what causes sap to flow.  For a lesson on phase changes, her students visited the sugarhouse to see the process of evaporation.

Patty Waldron

Waldron.JPG Patty teaches middle school agriculture and technology.  Her 8th grade ag technology students have been the primary beneficiaries of our grant program and have learned several new technology skills including desktop publishing, presentation design, virtual reality and blogging through our maple syrup projects.

Whitney Wagner

Whitney is an SVCS graduate with a bachelors degree in communications.  She is employed by a local television studio and often substitute teaches at Stockbridge Valley.  The team relied heavily on her video production experience in the completion of our project documentary.
