My name is Mrs. Katie Gempel. I have been teaching science at Orange High School since 2003. I currently teach Honors Biology, Forensics, Botany and Bioethics. Prior to arriving at OHS I taught laboratory courses at Cleveland State University where I obtained my Master's degree in Biology in 2001. I am a Mom to two boys. What I enjoy most about teaching is giving students the opportunities to explore and discover amazing things about themselves and the world. My hobbies include portrait and nature photography.
