We, the Elementary Best Practice Task Force, believe elementary students, ages 5-13, require a program that must reflect their developmental needs. Read Chapter 7  in Sadker (Financing and Governing America's Schools (pp. 228-258).

After reading Chapter 7, complete the interactive reading assignment for this chapter entitled "Who Is In Control?"  (Sadker cartridge) and e-mail your results to yourself.  Bring the assignment to class for discussion on March 20.

Post two questions on the BlackBoard Discussion Board about budget/finance for our guest speaker on school budgets and financing. They need to be posted by the end of the day on April 3. Our speaker  will answer as many of your questions as time permits when he joins us on Tuesday, April 10.
