Welcome and introductions. Pick a partner and conduct an interview using the questions on your worksheet.
Digital photos taken of everyone :-) Take turns with the camera and sign the photo sheet in the order you have taken your picture. Take 2 pictures of each person just to be safe (head and shoulders only-closeup). These interviews and photos will be displayed on our class bulletin board to help all of us get to know each other better and to match names with faces. I will attach our photos to this Course Assignment section on TaskStream (at the bottom where the interview form is attached). Download your photo and the interview form. Insert the photo into the interview form and send the document to me as an email attachment through the Message Center on TaskStream by January 23. Show me your best technology skills. :-)

Discussion of course syllabus and general course description.
Brainstorm course expectations based on course overview at your tables: Where are the gaps for you as you think about the “big picture” in schools today? What do you really want to leave this class knowing more about?

Pre-announcement of assignment to attend a District Governing Board meeting or another site based-decision making meeting sometime prior to March 27. See details on Mar. 6 assignments.

Please bring the above assignments to next class (Jan. 30) . Handwritten responses are fine or, if it's easier for you, it's fine to type your responses right onto the form that you download from this site.

These are good sites to bookmark because you may want to use some of these on your Showcase ePortfolio in your student teaching Capstone course.
