TaskStream is different from course management systems such as Moodle and Blackboard. The TaskStream system is designed to deliver the assessment tools and reporting tools needed by teacher training schools. Because many colleges and faculty already use services such as Moodle and Blackboard for their course management, TaskStream has articulated new initiatives to work with other system providers to collaborate on providing institutions with interoperability for a seamless working environment. Our development in this area is predicated upon identifying the specific needs and bringing together the collaborating parties to specify the interoperability requirements and coordinate programming activity to efficiently and effectively implement the desired solution for our clients.
Blackboard Vista
TaskStream and WebCT, a Blackboard Company provide a multi-purpose Powerlink that facilitates seamless integration between course management features within WebCT and the competency assessment and e-portfolio features within TaskStream. The Powerlink facilitates the ability of WebCT users to customise their e-learning environment by extending the WebCT platform to integrate with TaskStream.
Moodle
TaskStream has created a silent authentication capability for Moodle, an open-source course delivery system. The interoperability is embedded within TaskStream and can be automatically accessed to serve your organisational needs.
Other Systems
TaskStream is not limited to providing interoperability to just these two platforms. Organisations using other systems will also be able to link them.
