How it works for students

Students

  • Build a well-organised certification, course, assessment, or employment portfolio guided by an institutional template.
  • Create Personal Development Plans that can be emailed, posted to the internet, exported to CD ROM, downloaded as a PDF document.
  • Submit a section of a portfolio or the entire body of work for evaluation
  • Track progress towards completion of course or certification requirements.
  • Create personal electronic portfolios to showcase and document competencies and experiences.
  • Share a single piece of work or an entire portfolio with peers, tutors, mentors and advisors for feedback and review online.
  • Publish portfolios to the web or download to portable media.

Addressing QTS Standards

One of the critical features of the LAT is the ability for students to submit work that is aligned to QTS standards. By using this feature, students and staff are able to:

  • Align all submissions against QTS standards
  • Conduct gap analysis reporting that identifies which standards have not been addressed.
  • Produce reports that show whether or not the students has achieved identified all standards.
