Design Template

AMS is a highly flexible and intuitive tool and as such allows colleges and universities to determine the types of information that they want the system to collect. These are then formulated into easy to use and design templates that form the main evaluation tools. There are two main types of requirements that can be included in workspace templates:

Specific Components: Designed to support specific accountability processes and integrate with Outcomes and Mission Statement requirements.

Custom Components: General purpose components for which you can create a title and directions. Participating areas are given an open-ended text area for their response.

Outcomes

Critical to any learning or operational planning is the need to define outcomes, be they learning outcomes or actions / target.

AMS provides organisations with the ability to define these outcomes which are then automatically intergrated into assessment or operational plans.

The assessment plan is used by faculty for conducting curriculum and programme reviews.

Assessment Plan & Findings

Participating areas use the Findings Per Measure component of the assessment findings section to provide their results. The Finding Per Measure area provides a place for participating areas to document the results and findings for each measure included in the Outcomes and Measures section.

Beyond the preset components within the assessment findings (findings per measure, recommendations, and reflection), organisations can also include customised components to collect any additional information.
