Welcome to the ACEI standard 1 section of my portfolio:

This standard shows that I know, understand, and use the major concepts, principles, theories, and research related to development of children and young adolescents to construct learning opportunities that support individual students’ development, acquisition of knowledge, and motivation.

For this standard, I have will highlight my classroom management lesson, B is for Bully.  I have chosen this artifact because it serves to develop positive behavior and a safe working environment in the classroom.  In addition, my artifact also portrays how student's learn and develop character.
