Process Skills Center

Process Skills Circus Center

Context:

This assignment was created under the instruction of Jeff Goodman for GS 4401: Science and Science Technology in Elementary Schools.

Impact:

This assignment is designed as a center to engage students in hands-on learning

Alignment:

Standard 10: Teachers provide active inquiry experiences in the teaching of science by using various questioning skills and developing science processing skills (predicting, classifying, measuring, inferring, interpreting, analyzing, and synthesizing).

  • This standard is met by the process skills center because it is a tool that enhances the use of science process skills through a center that students can explore.  This center specifically was designed with the skills interpreting and analyzing in mind.
