The light box is going to be a do not enter sign and it is generated by a heat sensor. When me and mt partner had came up with the do no enter sign we thouoght of new orleans and gretna bridge. Our second design was the new orleans police sign we thought it will work for our box project, because the police had turned new orleans buses that had people from the katrina accident arround. The police had turned them around, all the people wanted was shelter, food, and clothes. Istead the governor of new orleans refuses to let them by because of what they will do like steal, kill.

New Orleans had a lot of history including art,music,culture,food. New Orleans always celebrate when any event happened like when somebody died and New Orlean do a last walk in New Orlean. When katrina had hit in New Orleans all the history had washed away but the past three years New Orleans still keeps on celebrating their culture.

The drawing had started out as a sketch but the sketch was approved then me and my partner just took at a another level. The second drawing started out of as a DO NOT ENTER sign. But then we thought of Gretna bridge so we came up with a star with a crescent moon that was actually came from the New Olreans police sign.

The benchmark is people in sociaties. Analyze the consequences of oppression, discrimination and conflict between cultures. I ask myself from time to time why must people act so different knowing are in danger and they need help. My light box is all about some people help but instead was being pushed away.

The light box will have about 20 to 25 LED' s blue. These will represent the New Orleans police crescent. Next after somoebody is approaching the light box it will switche to a DO NOT ENTER sign representing how the police didn't let the people across the bridge of Gretna. To make this image red LED'S will be used.

The light box is operated by heat sensors two of them. The design was originally supposed to be a DO NOT ENTER sign, me and my partner was researching New Orleans and Katrina. What happened in katrina was a shame and a lot of hatred on the former president bush?

George Bush was celebrating his birthday on a vacation. While bush was having his fun New Orleans was suffering needed help and also needed to move to a safer place instead the police was refused to let them pass by because of their situation that could have been handle. The police wasn't up for that kind of represponsibility, the police was the New Orleans police department, and the people that was refuse to pull back was New Orleans community.
