During this course, you have created a classroom website that included a multimedia presentation, technology task cards, assessment technology, and blended learning.  Using the feedback that you received from your instructor, compile your Comprehensive Classroom Technology Plan that will include the sections listed below as well as a reflection essay.
The plan is composed of the following components:

Section 1: Mission and Vision Statement: Create Mission and Vision Statements.

2. Should a teacher only use technology to differentiate instruction? Why or why not?
3. What is the impact on student achievement when technology is used to differentiate instruction?
4. What is the importance of student-centered technology in the classroom?

Section 5: Technology to Support Assessment
Write a 500-750-word description with rationale on how you will utilize software to support assessment in the classroom. Consider the following:

1. In what ways can technology facilitate the ongoing effort to assess student learning
2. What is the difference between formative assessment and summative assessment, and how can technology be used to facilitate both?
3. What are the pros and cons of using technology to assess student learning?

Reflection Conclusion

Write a 500-750-word reflection that summarizes how your comprehensive classroom technology plan can increase productivity and efficiency for both students and teachers.

Issues in Multicultural Education (Benchmark Assessment)
Explore local issues in your community that affect the education of diverse students. Possible issues may include, but are not limited to, inequities among districts in your area regarding teaching materials, quality of school programs, funding for cultural enrichment activities, etc.
Research an issue described above and analyze possible solutions you would implement in your future classroom. 
Develop a 750-1,000-word plan of action to solve the chosen issue, including the following:

SIOP Power Point Presentation

For this benchmark, create an in-depth, 15-20 slide PowerPoint presentation to inform other teachers in your school district of the benefits of using the SIOP Model as a teaching framework. This presentation should elaborate on the empirical research that shows the benefits of the SIOP framework when used with general education students as well as with ELLs. Your presentation should include:

1. A title slide
2. A brief description of socioeconomic, political, ethical, and legal influences on instruction for ELLs.
3. At least one brief video showing SIOP strategies being used with students (any grade level or subject area).
4. The eight interrelated components of the SIOP model and their application with teaching examples for each component.  The eight SIOP components are as follows:
   1. Lesson Preparation
   2. Building Background
   3. Comprehensible Input
   4. Strategies
   5. Interaction
   6. Practice and Application
   7. Lesson Delivery
   8. Review and Assessment
5. Include presenter’s notes, in-text citations, and a reference slide that contains three to five sources from the required readings or the GCU Library.

In your explanation of the eight SIOP components, include considerations about meeting ELL needs, such as access to academic classes, appropriate resources, and instructional technology.

Using SEI Strategies in a SIOP Lesson Plan

For this benchmark, create a SIOP lesson plan that integrates students' reading levels, cultural background, language objectives, content objectives, and best instructional practices for ELLs, as well as authentic assessment for a grade level and content area of your choice.

Use the SIOP lesson plan template, located on the College of Education site in the Student Success Center, and the "Class Profile” to complete this assignment.

From the “Class Profile,” specify a grade-level of your students. Choose a performance objective from the ELA Common Core State Standards to create the content objective for your lesson.

Select the English language proficiency standards based on the needs of your students. Consider applicable language acquisition stages of development in designing your lesson plan.
