Junior Achievement JobSpark

Member of the event planning and evaluation committees | January 2016 – Present

• Develop evaluation protocol for gathering feedback from K-12 students, educators, and industry volunteers.
• Advise committee on effective methods to measure the impact of a large-scale, interdisciplinary day of service.
• Participate in JA JobSpark event in order to gather qualitative data on day-of observations (see image to the right).
• Provide data-driven recommendations on areas for improvement for the 2017 JobSpark event.

Lilly Global Day of Service (LGDOS)

Member of the LGDOS evaluation team | August 2015 – Present

• Collaborate with the LGDOS Planning Committee to determine goals of the evaluation.
• Develop evaluation protocol for gathering employee feedback on volunteer motivation and perceived impact.
• Provide data-driven recommendations on areas for improvement for the next LGDOS event regarding logistics, volunteer preparation, event satisfaction, and perceptions of organizational impact and commitment.

Marion County STEM Coalition

Member of the Out-of-School Learning and Evaluation Committees | August 2014 – Present

• Contribute to group conversations on incorporating in-school learning objectives in out-of-school education programming through partnerships between schools and community-serving organizations.
• Provide guidance on evaluation methods for K-12 STEM programming.

US2020 STEM Mentoring Initiative

Member of the US2020 Program Committee | August 2014 – Present

• Facilitate conversations on best practices for corporate and university volunteer recruitment.
• Network with STEM organizations in Indianapolis in order to foster collaboration in the STEM education community.

 

Mayor’s Day of Recognition for National Service

Planning Committee Member for the event service project and luncheon | December 2014 – April 2015

• Worked with a team (see image below) to manage event location, guest speakers, catering services, Eventbrite invitations, guest accommodations for senior citizens volunteers, day-of set-up
• Developed the PowerPoint presentation to honor AmeriCorps members for their commitment to national service.
• Communicated event progress and details with AmeriCorps staff and program directors.
