• Committed 1 year to National Service, fighting poverty through partnerships with local non-profits, serving as an employee of the organization, building capacity and a sustainable means to continue the organization’s efforts past my service term.
• Developed employee engagement strategies for 15 corporate partners and 3 community partners by working with the human resources departments to understand the civic engagement policies and company values in place.
• Recruited professional volunteers from STEM fields to co-facilitate hands-on after-school K-12 programs.
• Created and distributed marketing collateral to advertise STEM mentoring opportunities in Indianapolis, including paper and digital fliers, PowerPoint presentations, posters, corporate playbooks, e-blasts, and e-newsletters.
