Undergraduate Student Mentoring

Mentorship experience with undergraduate student in the TLC Department | August 2016 – Present

  • Meet with student once per week to discuss progress on research projects.
  • Provide student with guidance on the fundamentals of research in the social sciences.
  • Support student in achieving personal and educational goals, providing student with resources for academic and career planning.

 

Alpha Phi Omega, Tau Omicron Chapter at IUPUI

National Service Organization | March 2011 – Present

  • Develop New Member Education program based on the cardinal principles and history of Alpha Phi Omega.
  • Create and facilitate engaging activities to foster a culture of interactive learning.
  • Manage the Big/Little Brother program and train “Big brothers” on best mentoring practices for creating positive relationships with peers.
  • Mentor underclassmen responsible for the New Member Education program upon my graduation in May 2017.

  • Developed course quizzes, assignments, and projects using Pearson textbook resources.
  • Managed course content through Canvas, IU course management system.
